HERTERICH GEORGE Jnr 2 Aughnacurra, Dangan Lower, Galway. In loving memory of our beloved son George who died on December 6th 2004, aged 33 years, after a long illness borne with great dignity and courage. His parents George Snr and Carmel Herterich would like to express our deepest gratitude to the great many people who sympathised with them on their irreplaceable loss. Our heartfelt thanks to all those who attended the funeral, called to our home, sent Mass and sympathy cards, not forgetting our wonderful friends and neighbours for all their support and understanding over a long period. We are especially indebted to Dr Noel Flynn, Dr Marie Brown, Dr Oliver McAnenna, Professor Jack Phillips (Beaumount Hospital), Dr Michael Maher and Dr Ann Cribbin (Mater Private Hospital), Dr Doyle and Dr Dymphena Waldron (Galway Hospice) plus the nurses and staff of Galway Hospice and the nurses of the Irish Cancer Society not forgetting the carers and Community Health Care. A very special word of thanks to Dr Billy Herterich and Michelle Herterich for their wonderful attention. To Rose, John and Ann Herterich, to Ann and Donagh McDonagh, to Grace and Sara Jennane, not forgetting Jack and Netta Conneely and our extended family go our undying gratitude. To those who travelled over-seas to be with us in our time of need, Walter, Mark and Sean Lyon (Boston), Treasa Monaghan and Maria Walsh (Boston), Brian Carroll (Scotland), Paddy Carroll (London), Christine Beatty (London), John O Roberts and Cliff Kearns (Wales), not forgetting David and Cathy Pilgrim (Dover), we will be ever grateful. We wish to thank our local CC Fr Kilcoyne for his support and to the priests who concelebrated Mass especially Fr John Whelan plus the readers Michelle Herterich, David Pilgrim, Sara Jennane and Allison Herterich, with a special word of thanks to Sean Buckley. Also special thanks to Sr Angela. For the beautiful singing and music we thank Patricia Lillis and Sonny Molloy plus Padraig Qualter and Fergal McDonagh for their wonderful contribution. To all of George's friends who formed the guard of honour, to the police for directing traffic, to the wonderful piper, to O'Flaherty's Funeral Service and to the gravediggers, we thank you most sincerely. Finally, for a debt that can never be repaid we thank Angela Henbrey of Dover and Tara Grehan, George's girlfriend, we will not forget. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all your intentions. Month's Mind Mass Thursday 6th January at 1.05pm at the Augustinian Church, Galway.

NOONE MICHAEL and NORA (Twentieth Anniversary) (Tenth Anniversary)

In loving memory of our dear parents, late of 41 Shantalla Road, Michael, who died on 22nd December 1984, Nora, who died on January 1st 1995. Somewhere beyond the sunset, where loved ones never die, you sit in a beautiful garden, beneath a golden sky. You won't come back, we know that's true, but one day Mam and Dad, we'll come to you. Dad You left us precious memories, your love is still our guide, although we cannot see you, you are always at our side. Time slips by, but still you stay, as near and dear as yesterday. As thoughts go back, as they often do, we smile again, as we think of you. Always remembered by David, Richie, Ronnie, Robert, Derek, Alan, Rob, Gavin, Kenneth, Laura, Paula, Fiona, Michele and Niamh.

In loving memory of our dear son, who died 25th December 2002. Gerard, our lives go on without you, but things are not the same, it's hard to hide the heartache, when someone speaks your name. If memories keep us together, then we are never far apart, for you are always in our minds, and forever in our hearts. Forever loved, deeply missed, your heartbroken Mam and Dad. Treasured memories of my dear husband, Stan, late of "Stroll Inn", Salthill, who died on December 29th 1979. Sweet Jesus, have mercy on him. A wonderful husband only lent, the very best God ever sent, the ones we love don't go away, they stay beside us every day. Though absent, you are always near, still loved, still missed, still very dear. To meet in Heaven, how sweet the thought, when life's short years are past, no more to weep, no more to part, to meet in Heaven, at last. Sadly missed by your loving wife Margaret. Dad You showed us love and kindness, Dad, you showed us how to care, you bound us all together, with love few families share. You taught us many things in life, that we would have to do, but you never taught us how to cope, with the sorrow of losing you. Sadly missed by your sons Eamonn and Anthony and daughter-in-law Sharon and granddaughter Robyn. Dad Oh, treasure him, Lord, in Your garden of rest, for he was my dad, and one of the best. Forget you, Dad, I never will, for in my heart, I love you still. Behind my smile there is many a tear, for a dad I lost and loved so dear. Always remembered by your loving daughter Maura, son-in-law Roger and grandchildren Elaine, Allen, Roger and David. Dad Dear are the memories silently kept, of a father I loved, and will never forget. You gave us many gifts in life, Dad, gifts both great and small, but most of all you gave us love, the greatest gift of all. It's nice to know we'll meet again, the world is not our home, too dearly loved to be forgotten, your loving son John, granddaughter Sara and grandson Steven. Dad The New Year comes with sad regret, we lost a father we will never forget, nothing can replace you, Dad, nothing ever will, in life we loved you dearly, in death we love you still. No matter what our day brings, no matter what we do, we never close our eyes at night, without a prayer for you. The staff at A&E, ICU at UCHG, the Presentation School, Michael Carrick for his beautiful singing, Campbell Catering, David Charles and staff, Frank and Eleanor, May and Jeff, The Ward, Regan, Morkan and Delargy families, Padraic Cloherty, officers, NCOs and personnel, Dun Ui Mhaoliosa, personnel from Costume Bks, Athlone, Conneely's Undertakers for all you've done, gravediggers and to those who travelled, to everyone, again thank you. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all your intentions. Month's Mind Mass For Evelyn will be on 26th December at 12 noon in St Joseph's Church, Presentation Road. BROWNE KATIE 18 St Finbar's Tce, who went to Heaven on 21st November 2004. William and Natasha, parents of baby Katie, wish to thank everyone who sympathised with them on their recent sad loss of Katie. They would like to say a sincere thank you to the staff of St Catherine's Ward and theatre staff at the Maternity Dept of UCHG, who were so kind to Natasha and William. To the hospital chaplain Fr Tommy Marrinan, the mortuary staff, to Ann McKeown bereavement officer at UCHG for her ongoing support. Thank you to Frankie Lee of St Patrick's parish who said a lovely Mass for Katie. To Sr Maura Winston of Bohermore Community and to the gravediggers. To all their family and friends who supported them in every way, a sincere thank you. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all your intentions. KILBANE ALAYNA Alayna's parents Pat, Jane, The Glade, Athenry, would like to send a sincere thanks to all who sympathised with them in their recent bereavement. Many thanks to all who called to the house to meet our beautiful daughter Alayna, those who attended the Mass of the Angels and burial, those who travelled long distances, sent Mass cards or floral tributes, those who sent letters of sympathy or phoned. Our thanks to Fr Tommy Marrinan Chaplain, UCHG, who baptised Alayna. Also thanks to the staff in UCHG for their kindness, Fr Tony King and the choir, Athenry, for a beautiful service. A sincere thanks to all our family, friends and work colleagues for your support at this time.
