There was a large response to the announcement of this competition last December. The Galway Advertiser thanks all those lovely girls who responded and it is a pity there is not space to publish all the photographs. The winner was chosen from six finalists and M i r r o r M i r r o r com mented that Claire was their ideal M i r r o r M i r r o r girl! It is to be hoped the competition will help in some way to get Claire off to a model career and to encourage the finalists and others to keep on trying . . . it must be one of the hardest careers to get established and the Galway Advertiser hopes to hold the competition again next year. Prospective models are advised that good photographs are essential.
