I still look to the stars at night and think I see you there, each night before I go to bed I check that you are there in the image of that North Star, yes, I believe that's you watching over us, as only you knew how. You were my lover, my friend, my husband and always my hero. My one wish is that my last breath on earth will be my first in Heaven and the first words I hear are "Hello darling, welcome home." Still loved and missed so very much. You are always on my mind. Your loving wife Mary. A n n iversary Mass Saturday 13th March at 6.30pm in Mervue Church. Dad God looked around His garden, and found an empty place, He then looked down upon His earth, and saw your loving face. He put His arms around you, and lifted you to rest, His garden must be beautiful, He always takes the best. He knew that you were suffering, He knew you were in pain, and knew that you would never get well on earth again. He saw your path was difficult, He closed your tired eyes, He whispered to you "Peace be Thine" and gave you wings to fly. When we saw you sleeping, so calm and free of pain, we would not wish you back to earth, to suffer once again. You've left us precious memories, your love will be our guide, you live on through your children, you're always by our side. It broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone, for part of us went with you, on the day God called you home. Alan, Laurna, Colette, Sinead, Paul and family. Dad I never thought of losing you, and maybe that's what's wrong, you always seemed a part of me, that would always carry on. Although I sadly miss you, I know you are not alone, for you are watching over me, In a place you now call home. Loved always your son Denis, grandchildren, Hayleigh and Shane. Dad We wish you were still here with us, we miss you every day, If thoughts could bring you closer, you would never be far away. Love Sonia and Patrick and grandchildren Colm and Padraig.
