Learn about reptiles at Petworld this weekend
BY UNA SINNOTT Petworld will host a special advice weekend on reptiles this weekend. Dave Griffen of Dave's Reptile Jungle in Dublin will be the guest speaker at the event, which takes place at the Petworld store in Terryland this Saturday and Sunday. Mr Griffen will be available to give advice on reptiles which are suitable as pets, and answer questions on how to care for reptiles. The event will features a variety of exotic reptiles from around the world, including boa constrictor snakes, bearded dragon lizards, ribbon snakes, and a six foot snake bred in captivity by Mr Griffen. The event will take place from 11am on Saturday and Sunday.

Lackagh Musical Society to hold auditions
THE LACKAGH Musical Society will hold auditions for Bye Bye Birdie, which it will be staging in The Town Hall Theatre in February 2006.
