The Chieftain could present a coloured coat of arm and history of the name to each person of the tribe. Bands and music and of course the friendly welcome that the Galway people are famous for. TRIBES FESTIVAL Dear Sir, With all the radio and newspaper discussions about Tourism and the' lack of Tourists in the 1980 season, I started thinking! (I do think sometimes so beware!) I thought if Galway could organise " A Festival of the Tribes of Galway". Not a week, but 14 weeks in the "off season". (The weather would not matter).
