Listen at Christmas
Throughout the year, at every hour of the day and night, the Samaritans are beside the telephone to help the lonely, depressed and suicidal. Some people find that Christmas can be a very lonely time when they may not be able to have friends or relatives around them. Even on Christmas Day, there will be two Samaritan volunteers on duty, to listen with sympathy and understanding to anybody who has troubles or who may wish to drop in for a chat. The centre will be open all over the Christmas holidays from 9 a.m. to 10.30 p.m. or people may c o n t a c t the S a m a r i t a n s anytime, day or night, at Tel. 61222. Samaritans befriend in absolute confidence and anonymity. They are nonjudgemental and they have plenty of time to listen. The centre is at 2 St. Brendan's Ave., Woodquay.

Men can always do with extra Shirts, Ties, Gloves, Socks, or Pullovers. There are also Dressing Gowns, Pyjamas, Suits, Trousers, Overcoats, in Sheepskin and Crombie to choose from.
