CHRISTMAS PARTY

Imperial I
I HOTEL I
Eyre Square, Galway 091-63033

For a real "Swinging" night out or a more "Civilised" evening right in the City centre. We've got everything you need. Come in and talk to m e !

There is one man in Galway City intent on bringing romance back, into lunch hour. For Brian O'Higgins, the Clare born manager of Galway's Great Southern Hotel has just opened a new wine and lunch cellar in the hotel's trendy "Fagan's Nightclub" which will cater for all those love-lorn people who want t o escape from the morning's dusty ledgers, hopping telephones, and canteen coffees. In dimly lit surroundings, you can relax in Fagan's

wine cellar to the soft caressing vibes of ace flautist J a m e s G a l w a y in the background, while enjoying a mid-day lunch or a soothing cup of coffee. Far away from the monotone drones of city centre traffic, glaring lights, and bustling bodies you can get away from it all in the city's new wine bar which opens from 12 -- 3 p.m. and 5 -- 9 daily. Brian O'Higgins, saw no reason why the nightclub which pulsates to the latest chart toppers at night

should not be utilised as a wine-bar during the day. He feels that Fagan's wine bar should come as a pleasant surprise to people who have virtually forgotton what it feels like to relax at lunchtime. Of course the low lights, the soft purring music, and the heady wine not to mention the traditional Irish stew should definitely lift many a man's thoughts to moonlight and red roses. What better way to spend a lunchour.
