The Costello Cup semi-finals and final as well as the O'M alley Cup final may now be played on July 23. They had to be posphoned due to Joe Corless being involved in Senior Cup play. POWER & LUCAS W M D TESTS The Galway Motor C l u b ' s a u t o t e s t s last weekend produced wins for Pat Power, who travelled from Waterford specially, and Ian Lucas from Belmont, Offaly. After six tests of the Salthill Promenade car park, where the event was supported by the Banba Hotel, Power had built up a five second advantage over P. J. Gannon, whose Mini had been penalised for deviating from the route, and thus depriving him of the win. The Salthill d r i v e r was runner-up in the small fwd class. Ian Lucas hadn't been able to better Power's times on any test and had to be content with a class win in his Midget, while Pat Higgins had three flag penalties on his way to win the large (over 1100 cc) class. Sunday's tests were at Healy's Forest Inn, Carrabane, and Lucas after the winner Michael Sugrue (22) played excellent golf to return 33 -- 33 -- 34.
