Health Squad star visits Galway
BY RICHIE MCCARTHY Karen Ward, presenter of RTE's highly successful show Health Squad will visit Galway city this Saturday June 27. Her latest book Change a Little to Change a Lot has attracted a lot of media attention since its launch in Ireland last week. The book looks at parts of modern day life which are taking their toll on our health and well being. Karen says "by making small positive changes to our daily routines we are helping our bodies and minds to function much better. Instead of making huge drastic changes which are rarely maintained, it's much better and proves to be more successful when we make changes in smaller steps." Rolling Stones star Ronnie Wood photographed this week here with his long time friend and colleague, Frankie Gavin. Also in the photo are Frankie's wife Michelle and Eric Cunningham. Ronnie and his girlfriend were at Frankie and Michelle's home for a three day holiday when all sorts of plans were hatched for this year's World Fleadh in Castlebar in August, `where you'll never know who you'll meet' said Frankie in a very mischievous mood!
