Alan Maxwell has been involved in the family auctioneering firm since 1989 when he joined his father Jim. Educated in "The Bish", and later onto GMIT where he completed a degree in Hotel & Catering Mgt. Alan worked for several years in the hospitality industry before joining the family business. Maxwell's at the time had a strong Auctioneering practice, combined with both general & life insurance agencies. As mortgage brokers, Alan developed links with all major lenders enabling clients to avail of the keenest products available. Alan and Thelma Joyce will head up the new Mortgage Division, where personal service and commitment to quality is assured. Jim Maxwell has been a leading figure in the property market in Galway, with a successful career spanning over forty years. Jim comes from a background in General Insurance. He came to Galway in 1962 and opened his own insurance brokerage in 1967, having established experience managing two leading insurance groups as Local Manager. He took out his first auctioneering license in 1967 and was elected a member of The I.A.V.I. in January 1971. Two years on he was introduced as a member of the International Real Estate Federation. Jim has since combined both Auctioneering, Insurance and Financial services successfully up to the present date. Jim is a well known figure on the Galway rowing scene and is a founding member and former president of the Tribesman Rowing Club.

Danno Heaslip has been a part of the Galway Property Scene and Sporting life for four decades. Educated in "The Bish" and Crescent College in Limerick, he spent two years in London in the insurance business as well as playing rugby for London Irish. In 1967 he joined Osborne King and Megran, who were then, the largest Property Sales Group in the country. In 1983 Danno formed his own business "FB Heaslip Ltd" and relocated to Woodquay. His son James joined the firm in 1997. Still heavily involved in the commercial property sector in the west of Ireland, Danno is nationally renowned for his knowledge of all aspects of the Galway property market. He is a prominent member and former President of Galwegian R.F.C., and was also a former Council Member of Galway Chamber of Commerce.

James Heaslip was born in Galway city and is the second generation of Heaslips to become involved in the estate agency business. Educated in "The Bish", he worked in the Permanent TSB after leaving school where he remained until he joined HC Financial Services in Oranmore. In 1997, he joined his father in the family business and has not looked back. A member of I.P.A.V., James was heavily involved in the set of the Property Partners Group in 2000 where he remains a prominent board member to this day. Involved in both the Commercial & Residential aspect of the business, James will bring and energy and vigour to an already exciting team of experts. Although a keen golfer, his main outside interest is rugby. Having played with Galwegians RFC throughout the years, he retired in 2005 and now coaches their Under 20's side with some considerable success.

Eddie Byrne has being an ever present figure in the real estate business in Galway for the past 5 years having worked for Maxwell & Co auctioneers prior to the new merger with Property partners Heaslip. Originally from Ballina, Co. Mayo Edward has over 14 years of sales experience in the retail business both in England and in Galway to date prior to joining Maxwell's office in 2002. Edward has since completed an I.P.A.V auctioneering course at N.U.I.G and will be a valued member of the property partners team working in residential sales and the Property Management division. A soccer fanatic, Edward has a keen interest in a range of outdoor activities. He is delighted to be a part of this new look team in Property Partners Maxwell & Heaslip.

Thelma Joyce has been part of the Property Partners Heaslip team since 1999. She left her home town of Cashel in Connemara after completing a PLC Business course in Clifden and working on a full time basis in a Solicitors office. Thelma has since received qualifications from both the I.A.V.I and the I.P.A.V. She also completed courses in Interior design and the building of one off housing. Thelma will bring to the merger threes years of experience in Residential Sales and will be heavily involved in the newly formed Mortgage Department. Thelma has grown to have a keen interest in Sports and as well as being a keen Tag-rugby player she also supports Connacht Rugby. Thelma is delighted to be part of the new team and is looking forward to working along side Eddie Byrne, James Heaslip and Alan Maxwell in the Sales department.

Naomi McComiskey has been part of the Maxwell & Co Ltd team since April 2007. Originally from Ballina in Co. Mayo where her family have an auctioneering firm. Naomi completed a diploma in Science in NUIG where she then moved to London working in a large Auctioneering firm before returning to Galway to settle where she spent six years of her professional career working in a large multi national company. Naomi heads up the adminitration support to the sales agents and directors and deals with customer queries, both in person and over the telephone, as well as assisting in the management of the extensive rental property management department of the office. She is looking forward to working alongside Caroline Timon at the reception area and as part of the new integrated Property Partners Maxwell Heaslips.

Serena Cronin has been part of the Maxwell & Co Ltd team since May 2007. Originally from Killarney in County Kerry, Serena received an honors degree in Public Administration from the University of Limerick, followed by a Higher Diploma in Public Management from the Institute of Public Administration. She spent the first four years of her professional career working in a large finance department in the public sector in Cork City, gaining expertise in all areas of accounts. Following her year out for world travel, Serena has based herself in Galway. She has recently gained qualification as a Certified Payroll Technician from IPASS, and looks forward to gaining further qualifications in other areas of Finance. Serena is excited to be working along side Teresa in the Accounts Department to facilitate the smooth integration of both companies.

Caroline Timmon has been a member of Property Partners Heaslips team since March 2005 having joined the team immediately after completing a Certificate in Secretarial Business Studies at Galway Technical Institute. She is originally from Ballaghaderreen in County Roscommon and has been settled in Galway for the last seven years. Caroline will deal with the reception area and will provide an important front of house service in dealing with all customers and their queries, both in person and over the telephone, as well as assisting in the management of the extensive Property Management division of the office. As the first point of contact for most of our clients, Caroline will be happy to assist with all office related queries.

Teresa Connolly has been with Property Partners Heaslips since its foundation in 2002. Previously, she had been working with Danno Heaslip since his early days in Osborne King and Megran right through to the set up of FB Heaslip Ltd in the 1980s. Over the years Teresa has gained a wealth of experience in all aspects of Auctioneering and has seen many changes in the property market. For the past number of years she has specialised in bookkeeping and now heads up the Accounts Department of Property Partners Maxwell & Heaslips with the able assistance of Serena Cronin. Teresa has gained a wealth of experience over the years and has witnessed many changes over the years in the property market. A resident of Barna where she lives with her husband Paddy, Teresa is heavily involved in a number of community groups and parish activities.
