Christmas GIFT GUIDE

November 15 2007

Wanna be wicked? Precious Get them a ticket gifts from Emily Jean Designs
BY MAGDALENA SZULC A ticket, similarly to a voucher, can make for a great Christmas gift. It is a bit more specific than a voucher, but when bought with care and attention, can put a big smile on the recipient's face! Just to make things clear -- we're not talking about parking tickets here! If you're looking for the perfect present for a friend who happens to be quite outgoing and enjoys socialising and attending public events, you're halfway there. Let's say your friend is a big fan of sporting events and has a favourite team you obviously know of. Check when that team is playing their next game and simply buy the ticket. Is the person you're buying for a big music fan? It so happens that one of his favourite bands is coming to town. What do you do then? You go out there and buy the ticket for him, already picturing that big hug you're going to get for it. Even if that particular concert is a couple of months away from now or Christmas, it will extend the time your friend will be enjoying owning the ticket -- all the time up to the concert and much longer! Is that special someone a frequent movie-goer? Does she always know what films are being released and can tell you straight away who the director is and what actors star in particular movies? Why not get her a season ticket to one of the local cinemas? The same goes for those loving theatre, opera, music hall, or any other kind of entertainment. Not only will you please them by getting them something so thoughtful and practical at the same time, they might also want to take you with them!
