The company supplies hampers to most of Ireland's leading companies. Heritage Hampers provides a next day delivery service to anywhere in Ireland on all orders received before 12 noon and also offers a prompt delivery service to any destination within the EU. For those customers wishing to send food hampers to friends and family in North America, Canada, New Zealand, and Australia, Heritage Hampers has assembled a range of food hampers that include the most sought after Irish products for Irish people living abroad. Heritage Hampers has a 40-page catalogue which shows its range of hampers and this catalogue can be downloaded from the company's website at www.heritagehampers.com . The company has a division called the Hamper Factory which allows customers to create personalised hampers by selecting their own preferred packaging and contents. Heritage Hampers appoints rep for the west
On Friday last an agreement was signed that ensures companies and individuals in the west of Ireland have even greater access to Ireland's largest hamper company, Heritage Hampers & Gifts. Ciaran Earls was appointed the company's authorised representative for the west of Ireland. Speaking at the signing of the agreement Heritage Hampers & Gifts' managing director Sarah Galvin said, "We're absolutely delighted to appoint Ciaran as our representative for the west of Ireland. Ciaran has great experience in the wine and drinks market and in the retail sector. He has built up a fabulous network of contacts over the last number of years and his family has strong roots in business in the west of Ireland. We look forward to being able to provide an even better level of service to our existing customers and new customers alike in the west of Ireland by having Ciaran as our local representative." Heritage Hampers & Gifts was established in 1994 by Sarah Galvin, whose family owns Galvin's Wines & Spirits, Ireland's second largest independently owned fine wine and spirits importers and

A gift of the fish of knowledge
A host of food writers have endorsed the organic smoked salmon produced by Declan and Aoife Droney at Kinvara Smoked Salmon, who not only sell the product in their shop in Kinvara, but also by mail order. The smoked salmon is smoked the traditional way, which is that the fillets are cured under a layer of natural sea salt. Then the salt is washed off and the fillets are placed in a kiln for five hours before the smoking begins. It is a mixture of oak and beech wood shavings that are used to produce the smoke which circulates around the fish - and this was a surprise - for a further seven hours. Declan and Aoife now supplies his organic smoked salmon to about 50 organic shops in the London area, we are told, and other well-known shops. It's an ideal corporate gift.

Corporate gifts -- make them work to your advantage
BY MAGDALENA SZULC Corporate gifts are generally known as anything given out by a company for free; the company's name and logo might be attached to it, but it is optional. Corporate gifts can work to help any company, however they are often associated with larger companies with a high number of employees. Although corporate gifts can be used interchangeably with promotional items, the latter describes smaller value items of this type. Many smaller companies cannot afford to give out many expensive gifts, but even items of smaller value can work for you and bring you customers. A good way to use corporate gifts is to give them to customers you have already been doing business with. It will guarantee they will come back to you before they choose to go for someone else. It's like with anything else; you are always more likely to go back to someone who has already given something to you than someone who hasn't. Another way to use corporate gifts is to distribute them at trade shows or exhibitions of all kinds. In that case, as there will probably be many people to deal with, you might want to go for items of smaller value, like pens, key chains, or pads of paper.
