International homeopathy conference for Galway
MARY O'CONNOR A number of world famous speakers from India, the United States, Holland and Ireland will address the14th international homeopathy conference this weekend at NUI Galway. More than 300 people are expected to attend the annual event. Among the speakers is Dr Elizabeth Thompson, a leading clinician with a thriving outpatient service at Bristol Homeopathic Hospital. As academic director, Dr Thompson's vision is to encourage high quality homeopathy within the NHS in the UK. Angela Bracken, of NUI Maynooth, will speak about her work in the area of dramatherapy and its potential as a therapeutic provision for children with autism. Miranda Castro (USA) author of best-selling books including The Complete Homeopathy Handbook and Homeopathy for Mother & Baby will also address the conference. Dr Brian Kaplan who teaches at the Royal London Homeopathic Hospital will speak of his experience teaching homeopathy to medical doctors over the last two decades.
