Inis Aoibhinn is pleased to announce the opening of its drop-in and cancer support centre at Costello Road, UCHG, Galway. The drop-in centre is open to all people who are affected by cancer as well as those who care for them. There is also a counselling and clinical psychology service available for those experiencing pyschological distress as a result of their diagnosis of cancer. In addition, group sessions are also offered at Inis Aoibhinn. These include: Relaxation training, Visualisation techniques, coping skills workshops and stress management techniques.

Navy seeking new recruits
The Naval Service is looking to recruit up to 40 young men and women in a short campaign this June. As part of the campaign naval recruiters will be holding interviews in Renmore Barracks, Galway, on Tuesday June 26 at 9.30am. The Navy is offering a career with good pay and genuine prospects for further education and travel. Successful candidates can expect to begin their training in early September 2007.
