The Commitments and Luke Kelly tribute band to play Kennedys Live
The Commitments and a Luke Kelly tribute band will play in Kennedy's Live on Eyre Square this weekend. Having toured the world with their special version of `Dublin Soul', The Commitments will play at the grand opening of the new Eyre Square venue tomorrow night. And on Sunday The Legend of Luke Kelly will take to the stage. Featuring original Commitments stars Kenneth Mc Cluskey (The Meatman) and Dick Massey (Billy `The Animal' Mooney) plus musicians from the multimillion selling album, The Commitments promise to stir your soul with their performance. Tickets are 15, and doors open at 10.30pm. A Tribute to Luke Kelly, featuring singer Chris Kavanagh, will feature at the bar on Sunday. Mr Kavanagh bears a remarkable resemblance to Luke while his singing talent captures the depth and passion of the singing legend. Doors for this event are also open at 10.30pm.

Ticket giveaway
The Galway Advertiser has two sets of tickets to give away to The Commitments' gig in Kennedy's tomorrow night. The first two people to come into the Galway Advertiser offices today (Thursday) and say "The Commitments", will win a pair of tickets each.
