A T A R E C E N T meeting of the Fianna Fail Salthill Cumann, a resolution was passed strongly condemning the proposed routing of the new road from Grattan Road to the Whitestrand Road/Fr. Griffin Road junction. The meeting felt that this is probably the most dangerous junction in the City as sev eral accidents including a number of fatal ones have taken place at that junction in ecent years. T h e existing traffic flow is lready above the junction's capacity and ny moves to increase traffic volume here will cause chaos and possibly further loss of life.
