Adecco Recruitment extends thanks to generous clients Ghosts wanted
by Julie Tierney THIS EASTER Galway company Adecco Recruitment donated Easter eggs not only to the children's ward of University College Hospital, Galway but also to the children at Crannog, the respite care centre in Ballybane and to the women's shelter home in Newcastle. The residents of St Theresa's nursing home were not forgotten and were thrilled to receive their surprise eggs. the companies that took part in our Easter egg giveaway and a special mention to the team at Ernst and Young who donated a record number of eggs." The egg drive was part of a nationwide initiative with Adecco branches throughout Ireland and the UK asking generous clients to donate an Easter egg each, for donation to their local organisation involved predominantly with helping children. This is the first Easter egg giveaway for Adecco in Galway with its new offices on Abbeygate Street. Galway succeeded in collecting the highest number of eggs in the country and as Curtis pointed out "a true reflection of the Galwegian generosity of spirit". The eggs were given out by the Adecco Easter bunny who travelled from the magical world of Thimblelina on Mainguard Street. All the eggs were donated by Adecco's generous clients in the area. "The response from our clients was overwhelming and a wonderful reflection on what positive results we can achieve when we work together," said Maeve Curtis, branch manager. "We would like to thank all

Easter bunny hopping with joy
THIS YEAR'S Easter Egg Project run by Junior Chamber Galway was, once again, an astounding success. Firstly members of Junior Chamber Galway, along with a couple of Easter bunnies, attended a party in St Joseph's Special School on the March 27 and Easter eggs sponsored by Mars Ireland were given to the children. On Easter Sunday at Masses in Knocknacarra, Mervue and Claregalway Mass-goers donated more than 400 eggs. The Easter bunny attended outside the churches and helped distribute sweets, again sponsored by Mars Ireland, to children as they left. The donated Easter eggs were distributed to numerous charities within the Galway area on Easter Sunday (John Paul Centre, St Vincent De Paul, Westside and Waterside House, Club Failte to name but a few). The response to the project was overwhelming according to Junior Chamber Galway and the generosity shown superb - special thanks go to all the children who donated one of their Easter eggs. On Easter Sunday the Easter bunny and Junior Chamber members also visited the paediatric unit in University College Hospital, Galway and distributed eggs
