The annual general meet ing of Our Lady's Boys Club Rugby section took place at the Jesuit Hall, Sea Road, on Monday, 14th May. The meeting was attended by a crowd of around thirty which included Connacht Branch referees Mick Halpin, Frank Howard and Joe O'Donnell. The President, Tom Cun ningham reviewed a very successful year and congrat ulated the Junior A and B, teams respectively on winning the Connacht Junior League and Ard na Cregg trophies, and mentioned the fine record of the Junior A team of having scored 372 points as against 75 points in all competitions during the season. T h e fol lowing committee were then elected: President: Paddy Beatty; Vice-Presidents Tom Connell, T. J. McLoughlin; Sec. Pearse O'Toole; Treas. Michael Grealish; Asst. Treas. Alan Glynn; Captain of 1st team Frank O'Loughlin Vice-Captain Mike McDon agh; P.R.O. Joe O'Flynn; Minor and Juvenile represen tatives : Paddy McDonagh, Durcan Forde, Alan Glynn and Willie Connell; Selectors Pearse O'Tcole, Frank O'Loughlin and Joe O'Don nell. Paddy Beatty then thanked the committee for the fine job they had done during the past year and asked them for their support in the next. He con gratulated Frank O'Loughlin on being re-elected as captain of the 1st team. He then con cluded by wishing first team players Larry Casserly and Stephen Griffin every success with senior teams Galwegians and Corinthians respectively, whom they would be joining in the new season. The club wish to thank patrons for their great sup port during the season and especially for the Marathon Rugby match which got great response.
