T h e first of t h e s e will take t h e form of a lecture at 3 p . m . o n S u n d a y , J a n u a r y 21st, i n t h e Atlanta H o t e l , D o m i n i c k Street, when the club's h o n orary veterinary surgeon will give m e m b e r s a n d friends (incidentally, all a r e w e l c o m e , w h e t h e r m e m b e r s or not) a few hints o n t h e care of dogs. H e will deal with such diverse subjects as vaccination, p r o p e r feeding, t r e a t m e n t of skin conditions, g r o o m i n g h i n t s , t r e a t m e n t of injuries a n d a host of o t h e r canine facts. O n t h e same afternoon M r . P . Kelly, i n s p e c t o r for t h e Society for t h e P r e v e n t i o n of C r u e l t y to A n i m a l s , will deal w i t h t h e growing p r o b l e m of t h e stray d o g .
