IF Y O U want to be the belle of the ball this season, dress up in your most elegant fashions for evening.

his is the message from Moons which held its autumn/winter

fashion show in aid of the Gal way-based National Breast Cancer Research Institute recently. The 'iliwniiiE, night-time looks drew many admiring glances. Long sfiaky dresses in sumptuous fabrics accentuated every curve. Rich velvets in black or grey with side splits conveyed a touch of opulence, and sequins added sparkle. Black, red, and grey were the predominant colours. Classy black trousers combined to stunning effect with a red sequinned top while a M l length black velvet dress,richlyadorned with sequins, offered an utterly luxurious and contemporary edge to evening dressing. Day time looks featured soft shapes and strong tailoring. Hemlines were any length from the knee to ankle-skimming. Long and lean lines hi Bud fabrics were among the most directional styles. Grey tended to be the dominant colour but blacks and reds were oat m force too. Casual looks drew on the red and white theme frequently. Trouser softs, often cut lean and clean, gave a professional edge to autumn dressing. Wider and morefluidstyles worked well too. Soft separates combined cosiness with casual elegance. Winter coats, soon to be high on all our fashion agendas, were luxurious. Lengths and styles varied from flowing to belted and slim waisted. Many had fake far collars. Greys and blacks were the top fashion colours here.
