Make up a skewer for each member of the family a n d , after grilling, serve them on a bed of hot noodles or other pasta of your choice. A tasty Barbecue sauce adds flavour t o the dish. Lemon juice, mixed herbs, freshly ground black pepper and other seasonings all help to bring out the flavour of the foods. The ingredients may vary enormously from the more ex pensive prawns a n d steak t o cheaper sausages a n d bacon. F o r an economical selection for the family, 1 suggest :-- Bacon rolls, sausages, green pepper, button m u s h r o o m s , t o m a t o e s , pickled onions.

T o m a t o e s -- cut in half across each t o m a t o . Pickled onions -- need n o preparation. Chicken -- left-over chicken (cooked) may be cut into c h u n k s and any skin removed.
