Polka dots are out in force for Summer '93. That's one of the fashion messages from Sasha's, the retail chain owned by Mountbellew couple Terry and Marie 0 ' Brien. The group which was set up in 1983 now has 15 branches around the country. Sasha's held their S p r i n g / S u m m e r fashion show in Galway recently and ushered in a vast and varied selection of stylish, up-to-the minute numbers. Platform shoes were out in force demanding poise and balance from their wearers. Big and bold polka dots vied for pride of place with small, pretty dots and ap peared in fresh summer dresses. An emerald and navy polka dot dress and short sleeved jacket cut quite a dash. Dashes and flashes of col our were everywhere, creating a holiday mood. Sasha's have a rich assort ment of colourful outfits. T h e r e is lots of burnt orange, lemon, navy and white, china blue, pea green and apricot. Button through side slits and daring back slits are news. The show offered a wide choice of skirt-lengths, featuring everything from slender, longline numbers to bold, shorter styles. F L O W I N G STYLES Flowing trouser styles are much in evidence too as are the more fitted and front pleated varieties. Denim has lost none of its appeal and pops up in shirts and jeans in a variety of fits and colours.
