Spring '92 collection launched in Paris recently. The highly acclaimed couturier celebrated the 500th anniversary of the discovery of his country
in a vast and vibrant palette of burnt oranges, pinks, jades, flames and yellows. Unlike the other big guns who seemed preoc cupied with corsetry and
lingerie, De Renta, while still including the shorter hemline, penned a collec tion that came up with the right mix of contem porary desirability and wearability.
