The 14th Galway Arts Festival was launched last night in t h e l . M . I . Building with a blend of true Galway style and a taste of the international flavour that's come to characterise this spec tacular annual bash. Two t r a d i t i o n s m i n g l e d as guests heard music from Johnny "Ringo" McDonogh and friends, followed by the breathtak ing acapella singing of Black Umfolosi, kitted out in traditional African costume.
