A file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions following the discovery of cash and drugs during a raid in a city centre apartment. Members of the Garda drugs unit searched the apartment in Eglinton Street last Thursday night

One man was arrested under the Misuse of Drugs Act and was questioned at Galway Garda Station following the find. He was subsequently released without charge and a file on the incident is being prepared for the DPP.
