Renmore born Serenity proprietor Paula Carr is qualified as a beauty therapist for the last eight years and has worked in a number of Galway's top salons Paula Carr of Serenity Beauty with Paul Griffin of Zenith including Fakin It and the Aromatherapy Hairdressing Eyre Street. Having recently spent a year working in beauty salons in Australia, she also feels she brought home a few extra tips for Galway customers. Proprietor Paul Griffin is Claddagh born, and has a long string of qualifications and hairdressing experience to his name. He spent a number of years teaching advanced hairdressing to stylists and salon owners from all over the country, was an educational director for eight years in a hairdressing college, and worked as a senior stylist in one of Sydney's top salons for a term. He has just returned from the judging the South Eastern Hairdressing competition and is looking forward to meeting customers old and new in the new premises. She wants to welcome men also into the salon, and says she designed the space specifically in such a way that it wouldn't be intimidating for them.
