Advertiser appeal raises AA convention to be held funds for homeless youth in Salthill this weekend and Peruvian children
BY MARY O'CONNOR The Galway West area of Alcoholics Anonymous will hold its 29th annual convention in the Galway Bay Hotel, Salthill from January 2 to 4. It will hold an open public meeting on Friday 2 from 8.30pm to 10pm. AA speakers will share their experiences with the audience. T here will also be a speaker from Al-Anon, the family support group. This will be followed by a question and answer session.
