PAWS 4 THOUGHT
If you can make one of these lads' lives happier, please phone the sanctuary at: 09096-76397 (open every day) or the GSPCA office: 091563631/568572. Check the website: www.galwayspca.com to view all the animals. And remember that homechecks are always carried out for all the animals and a donation is required. Holiday Safety Tips Holiday decorations and food items can be dangerous to our companion animals. Poinsettia plants, mistletoe, and chocolate are all toxic to them. Tinsel, breakable tree ornaments, and ribbon can cause serious injury to pets if swallowed. Take a few minutes now to safeguard your home for your pets during the holidays. CATS: Marmaduke: is a twoyear-old ginger beauty who was involved in a car accident and lost his eye. He is neutered and in recent weeks has come on in leaps and bounds. He likes to sit in a confined area and feel safe, as he is only getting used to his reduced range of vision. Marmaduke is a real prince among cats stately, yet a cat of the people who loves a cuddle. Velcro: is a 6 six-yearold spayed female who is very gentle and needs a quiet home. This beauty will stick to a loving owner like velcro. If you go to the sanctuary you will be stuck on her too when you see her shiny black coat. DOGS: Rua is a two-year-old Norfolk terrier who was found wandering the streets of Moycullen, skinny and very run down. A woman took him into her home to nurse him better and he is now waiting at the sanctuary for a new home. He is a lovely ginger colour, very friendly, and loves a game of football. Does your family have the time for a daily 'kick-about' with Rua? Pasha: When threeyear-old Pasha was surrendered to the GSPCA, he was very frightened, but he has now settled down very well and is really friendly. He is a beautiful combination of colours black white and tan. Pascha loves his walks and company and is very intelligent. Why not go down and take him for a walk on the lovely grounds?
