Buttermilk Lane to be maintained
THE GALWAY City Council has established a new group to look after and maintain Buttermilk Law. A new co-ordinating group has been established to co-ordinate the maintenance of the pedestrianised area and drainage, weeds, and painting issues. The new group involves representatives from the Drainage. Environment, Roads, and Planning sections of the city council. Cllr Martin Quinn submitted a notice of motion to the Galway City Council calling for work to be carried out on Buttermilk Lane. "The council's Director of Services for Transport and Infrastructure. Tom Hernon, says the programme of work will significantly enhance the area and I compliment him for the establishment of this very welcome group and I hope the work will get underway immediately."
