R O U S I N G O U T P U T in C o u n t y Galway during 2001 saw an increase of almost 21 per cent. The Minister for Housing Bobby Molloy described the figures as a substantial increase on 2000. The new house completions in Galway were up 20.7 per cent to 3,903 units in 2001. Output is up 28.7 per cent to 1,436 units in Galway city and up 16.3 percent to 2.467 units in the rest of the country.
