If you must confine yourself to just a f e w varieties don't overlook the likes of Jack Snipe, Jenny, Little Witch or Jumblie. These, like all the above, g o d o w n just four inches with a similar spacing between each bulb. You must find room for these, my "better" miniature daffodils, so look for suitable little pockets today and plant as s o o n as possible. A s with the larger daffs, don't mix the varieties, plant in threes, fives and sevens, and add s o m e bonemeal to their position as you plant.
