Rushie's to be a barman in Coyotes
Liverpool football legend Ian Rush is coming to Coyotes Late Bar on Forster Street this Saturday (March 6). The striker who is well known for his goal ratio in the eighties is the man who when asked what life was like living in Italy is reputed to have said "It's like living in a foreign country." The Welshman will also try his bar tending skills by working behind the bar and even working as a DJ!! Ian Rush is best remembered as the legendary striker for Liverpool, but during his professional career he also played for Chester City, Juventus, Leeds United, Newcastle United, Sheffield United, Wrexham, and Sydney Olympic. GTI to hold Open Day next week
Galway Technical Institute, Father Griffin Road, the largest provider of quality assured further education courses in the West of Ireland will host its annual Open Day on Wednesday March 10 from 9.00am to 5.00pm.
