Hair designer Noel Egan is proprietor of the new male hair fashion salon opening tomorrow, August 21st, at his premises in Upper Abbeygate Street. Noel, a native of Athlone, has been a member of the haircare profession for ten years. Having served his time in Athlone, he continued to perfect his craft in Ballina. He then decided to work in Dublin and London, where he specialised in razor cutting and hair colouring. While in London, he spent some time attending to the measurement and fitting of toupees, as a result of which he was awarded the regional agency by two national quality toupee making firms. As a young man he understands the need for up-to-theminute hairstyles for the youth of Galway and has set up his salon with this in mind.
